🌍 **Our Community Theme Week** 💛

This week we have been learning all about *Our Community* and how we can help others.

From Monday to Wednesday, the children worked incredibly hard to prepare for our fundraiser. They made bracelets, keyrings and bookmarks to sell, as well as creating posters and banners to advertise our stall. The children even went around the school to raise awareness and encourage others to come along! On Wednesday afternoon, they proudly ran their stall and sold their handmade items.

On Thursday, we celebrated **St George’s Day** by making our own flags and shields. The children really enjoyed learning about this special day and being creative.

On Friday, we celebrated **Somerset Day** by making apple bunting and Somerset flags. In the afternoon, we took part in maypole dancing on the field, which was lots of fun and a lovely way to celebrate together.

We were also very lucky to have a visit from Phil from the Bridgwater Food Bank. The children were so proud to present him with a fantastic donation of **£110**, which we raised through our class fundraiser.

It has been a wonderful week full of learning, creativity and kindness 💛
