We began our Autumn term with a special focus on celebrating our differences. Together, we explored what makes each of us unique and why our differences should be celebrated. We talked about how life would be boring if we were all the same, and how everyone has something valuable to bring to our class community.

Throughout the week, we looked at the many ways families and homes can look different – and how each one is special in its own way. We also learnt to say "hello" in a variety of languages and discovered more about the cultures and traditions represented in our classroom.

The children particularly enjoyed listening to music from around the world and even had the chance to create their own instruments. As part of our learning, we also explored British Values and took time to learn about the important contributions celebrated during Black History Month.

It was a joyful and meaningful start to the term, filled with curiosity, creativity, and connection.
