This week (11^th - 15^th September) has been 'We've Got the Power!' theme week. We have been learning about energy and how we can help our planet by being mindful of our energy use. 

We looked around our school to find different sources of electricity and talked about electrical devices we use at home. We thought carefully about what we can do to save energy such as turning the lights off when we aren't using them or recycling and reusing our waste.

As a class, we learnt about some of the effects of global warming, such as the ice melting and shared our feelings about this. Finally we talked about renewable, clean sources of energy such as wind and solar power, and we made our own windmills.

We are all going to try our hardest to save energy and look after our planet!
