Enrichment clubs

In addition to the wrap-around-care clubs, Early Birds 8.00 to 8.30am and Night Owls 3.00 to 5.30pm, that parents can pay for, we also run a variety of free clubs, offered to classes and year groups on rotation over the year.  These include Sports, Forest Club and Dance.  

All pupils should have opportunity to access all clubs during their three years in school with their class. However, these free clubs are run by members of school staff. There may be times when we unavoidably have to cancel a club at short notice due to staff illness. 

We also run additional clubs for our pupil premium families to offer more opportunities for their children to enjoy these activities.

When it is their turn, your child will bring home a letter with a permission slip for you to sign. Clubs generally run for half a term each. As we have seven classes to fit into six half-terms, we do double up some classes with some clubs or sometimes split the mixed age classes amongst their same-age peers. 

For families that also use the Night Owls club, we can deliver children to this provision following their enrichment club, and you can then collect from the Nursery building at your usual time.
