We had lots of fun during our Brilliant Bridgwater week. On Tuesday, we wore our Halloween costumes, carved pumpkins and made 'Trick or Treat' decorations. On Wednesday, we had marshmallows and hot chocolate around the bonfire, we made firework pictures and we learned about Diwali and their festival. We made lanterns and decorated them. On Thursday, we had our Community Day where some parents came in to share the story 'Goldilocks and the Three Crocodiles'. We had such an amazing time decorating biscuits, building with Lego, creating collaborative art and sharing a love of reading. Unfortunately our Book Swap had to be rescheduled due to the weather, but we are hoping to host this once the weather improves. Lastly, on Friday, we learned all about the Bridgwater carnival. We watched videos of old carnivals, we made carnival carts from construction materials. We also had a chance to dress up into Miss Bakers carnival clothes! We finished the week by taking part in the Hamp Infant School carnival procession around the playground.
