This week in Gruffalo class, we have been taking part in our theme week ‘Being Resilient’.
On Monday our theme was team work and we took part in some challenges to see how well we worked together. We learnt about the importance of working as a team to get a task done.
On Tuesday, we thought about healthy bodies. We made a balanced meal plate collage and thought about how to look after our personal hygiene.
On Wednesday the theme was healthy minds and we talked about our feelings, using the story The Colour Monster. We thought about how we could help ourselves to be calm.
On Thursday, we learnt about having a growth mindset and keeping on trying even when things get tough.
On Friday we celebrated ourselves and talked about all of the things that make us special. We also enjoyed Rainbow time.
