Reading for Pleasure Theme week.
We began our school year with a Reading for Pleasure theme week. During this time we focused on raising the profile of reading and encourage good reading habits. The children became authors and illustrators, made bookmarks, shared their reading experiences and favourite books, and so much more... It was a great way to start the school year as it allowed the children to settle in well, whilst sharing a love of reading.
