Spring Term Theme Week- Being Resilient
We've had a really busy week with our theme week of Being Resilient
On Monday the class played some team based games to see if they could make a bridge without touching the ground! On Tuesday we talked about how to have a healthy body and mind, including what foods were healthy and unhealthy, making Healthy Eating posters! On Wednesday we focused on mental health including how to relax and understanding our emotions. On Thursday the focus was on Growth Mindset and how we all change and grow in both body and mind, thinking about what we are good at and the goals we might have. Finally, on Friday, we thought about being proud of who we are, along with doing some calming yoga in PE, and thinking about how we are different from our friends.
They really enjoyed and participated with all the activities.
