To begin the second half of the Autumn Term, the children took part in a theme day. During this day, they learnt all about the history of Bridgwater Carnival, honouring the momentous event by making the own carnival carts and exploring the costumes worn and how they have changed over time. Some of the children even created their own carnival themed dances. 

The children also learnt about bonfire night by exploring why and how it is celebrated by many people around the world. Some of the children even made their own firework pictures and edible sparklers. 

All of the children's hard work and learning was then showcased during a parade.
