Healthy Body, Healthy Mind theme week
We have had a wonderful week exploring how we can keep our bodies and minds healthy.
We started with looking at staying safe when we use our bikes and scooters. The children showed a really good understanding of how to stay safe.
On Tuesday we found ways to calm our mind, including painting to music and using breathing strategies.
On Wednesday we had our breakfast day and enjoyed toast and toppings. The children buttered their own bread and added jam if they wanted it. We also sequenced pictures of the activity.
On Thursday we learnt about our bodies and in particular our skeleton.
On Friday we had our usual PE session with our sports coach, then we made a fruit salad to enjoy and in the afternoon we aimed to walk a mile with the whole school - combined we walked over 200 miles!
